Universal Bibliography

Definition:
A bibliography which indexes multidisciplinary literature.

Example:
The German National Bibliography is an example of a Universal (or general) bibliography.

Nineteenth century English-language works, covering all subject areas (and available on microfiche), can be found in the bibliography The Nineteenth Century.
